Shay Scholes

My journey in the world of film and video production
has instilled in me a strong commitment to collaboration and a genuine love for the craft.

After graduating from UBC, I garnered practical experience working on indie sets in Vancouver. I then contributed as an editor and videographer for Go Big Creative in Utah. After returning to Seattle, I've continued to expand my repertoire by serving as 2nd 2nd AD on the feature film "Inheritance" and editing for Spin Creative and Sandpiper Video (and a variety of other companies). Most recently I've worked as 1st AD for the indie feature "Cuckoo!" and as a part of the Northwest Film Forum's ACTION! Apprenticeship cohort.

 As an independent and friendly team member, I take pride in my ability to work effectively with diverse crews and bring a positive energy to any set.
